This Looking for Scholarship is for SF State reentry students on a competitive basis in recognition of academic excellence and financial need.The Undergraduates pursuing a first baccalaureate degree and experienced a cumulative gap in their education of five or more years can apply for this scholarship.
The candidate should admitted to SF State or a continuing SF State student between the ages of 25 and 50.The Looking for Scholarship candidate should have minimum cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0 and demonstrate financial need.The candidate should be enroll at SF State in a minimum of 6 units each semester for the 2011-2012 academic year.

University of Central Lancashire International PhD Looking for Scholarship


The Looking for Scholarship is valid for a maximum of 3 years for a doctorate (of MPhil) [subject to the satisfactory progress] and is open to international applicants only. UK / EU applicants are not eligible. The grant will be £ 15.000 to provide for the cost of international tuition over 3 years.
Musculoskeletal problems are young and consume considerable resources for health. To date it has received little to the etiology and natural history of these disorders.
Looking for Scholarship Studies have mainly focused on older people because of the societal costs of disability. However, there are indications that musculoskeletal disorders may be connected to the lower extremities in young adults with long-term problems. The Looking for Scholarship doctoral program is an epidemiological approach to investigate the prevalence, incidence and risk factors for problems of the lower extremities in young adults

PhD Looking for Scholarships Studentship in Limnology/Aquatic Biogeochemistry


Looking for Scholarships Applications are encouraged for a 4-year PhD-student position focusing on the effects of changing snow- and ice cover conditions in the arctic and boreal region on carbon dioxide emissions from freshwaters. The PhD-project is Looking for Scholarships part of the Centre of Excellence ”Cryosphere-atmosphere interactions in a changing arctic climate financed by NordForsk. Cooperation with Helsinki University and the Finnish Environment Institute (SYKE) is part of the project which includes field work for the gathering of own data as well as analyses of already existing large datasets.

Eligibility: To Looking for Scholarships be eligible for a PhD-student position, the applicant must hold a University degree in natural sciences, engineering or comparable with a focus on aquatic biogeochemistry/aquatic ecology/limnology/water and environmental engineering or other relevant subjects. In ranking eligible candidates, special importance will be given to scientific skills in relation to the subject area specified. Special weight will be given to earlier experience in statistics/modelling as well as GIS since large databases need to be handled. In addition, experience with field work is meriting. Strong motivation and capacity to independent work are important qualities. The Looking for Scholarships applicant must be proficient in spoken and written English. In filling this position the university aims to recruit the person who, in the combined evaluation of competence, skills and documented qualifications, is judged most suitable to carry out and develop the work-in-hand and to contribute to a positive development of the department.

University of Pretoria has 50 Thuthuka bursaries available to award each year for students studying B.Com (Accounting Sciences). It is a unique bursary in that, if you are chosen, you get placed on the University of Pretoria Thuthuka Programme, which is committed to seeing you pass your exams and qualifying as a CA (SA).
Students who do exceptionally well in most subjects yet obtain poor results in Mathematics do not qualify. Good results in Mathematics (NOT MathematicalLiteracy) are key in a pursuing a career in Chartered Accountancy.
