The Looking for Scholarships concept of proton-driven plasma acceleration Wakefield recently been proposed as a means of accelerating electrons to high energy group with a very high gradient.preliminary calculations promising, as shown in the Nature Physics 5, 363-367 (2009), and demonstration experiments are now being considered. The focus of work will be on time and frequency domain characterization techniques developed for plasma wakefields and to drive and witness bunches. An experimental technique is considered to extract information about the electric field electro-optic sampling of single-shot based on the dispersive Fourier transform. Salary and benefits commensurate with public service organizations (TVöD) rules. This Looking for Scholarships contract is initially limited to 2 years with possible extension.
